I first became interested in chiropractic while running cross-country in college. I injured my lower back in my freshman season, like I had done many times before. My coach suggested going to see our local chiropractor for my pain. After a couple visits, my lower back was pain-free and I’ve never had another low back injury. After helping with my lower back, I was fascinated by how the doctor worked using just his hands to heal people. I started to learn just how much chiropractic can do for the body besides just pain relief. I knew from that experience that I wanted to become a chiropractor.
Upon graduation from Lake-Lehman High School in 2007, I attended Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania. While there, I majored in Health Science Pre-Professional to get myself ready for chiropractic school. In 2011 I attended New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, finishing my studies in 2014. I am certified in RockTape Fascial Movement Taping, and Webster Technique for pregnant women. I have passed the national boards for chiropractic licensure.
I love anything active. I like running, soccer, weight training, rock climbing, and biking to name a few things. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I look forward to meeting you, and hopefully caring for you in the near future!
My interest in becoming a health professional began when I was in high-school. I have always had a desire to help people, and really liked the idea of using the natural and hands on approach that chiropractic offers. Having come from a large family, I have a special interest in pregnancy care, for both the prenatal and post partum woman.
After graduating from Oswego High School in 2007, I attended Niagara University in Lewiston, NY and obtained my undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Dance. I then went on to attend New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, graduating in 2014 with both a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a certification in Whole Foods Nutrition. I am a BIRTHFIT Professional, Level 1 RockTape Fascial Movement Taping certified, as well as Webster Technique certifiedfor pregnant women. I am currently licensed to practice in New York State.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, yoga, and dance. I am also actively pursuing becoming barre (ballet fitness) certified. Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. I'm looking forward to helping everyone in the Capital Region community on their path towards health and wellness!
